Support Not Stigma

Philosophically, the Support Not Stigma (SNS) initiative is about restorative social justice for people in our community who use substances. Trellis HIV and Community Care and the Integrated Care Hub (ICH) received $1.5 M from Health Canada’s Substance Use and Addictions Program (SUAP). Informed by the ICH’s 2021 Needs Assessment, the initiative strives to provide people in our community who use substances with “A hand up, not a hand out”. It involves six key areas of work.
