Before the sirens

21% of Canadians (6 million people) will experience addiction in their lifetime, and some will lose everything as a result. This documentary explores the lives of the people who serve those suffering from mental health and substance use challenges, including homelessness. They are the unsung heroes saving lives on the front lines of the drug poisoning crisis.
